MN Fine Homes in Rogers, MN requested that we help fill out their showroom with some concrete. We made this small coffee table that has a concrete base that looks like wood and a concrete top that has epoxy and fireglass with backlit color changing LEDs.
Veined concrete countertops are renowned for their striking appearance, reminiscent of natural stone such as marble or granite. We create veining in a few different techniques. These grey veins are integrally colored and they add depth and character that is one of a kind.
This showroom kitchen has a full concrete backsplash that matches with the veined concrete countertops. These countertops are 2″ thick for a bold appearance. Since concrete is lighter than any other stone, these were able to be installed with just 2 people.
The showroom kitchen also has an open window where more concrete was placed on the surface.
